RE:Garmin GPSMAP 60CS
Not sweating..... that was just me poor attempt of being funny
and rudely making my way into the conversation. I really do
like my "cheap" Explorist 200, I just wish it had downloadable
maps.... that's the only thing I don't like.... but the 8MB map that
comes with it has been okay so far. And it appears to be pretty
accurate.
As for the automobiles.... I'm a Dodge guy. Wouldn't trade it
for anything.... not a jeep not a scout.... nothing.... I would,
however, let you rescue me if I was stuck!
Anyway, thanks for the chat!

Don't sweat the wisecracks. The
Garmin vs. Magellan rivalry is similar to that of Chevy/Ford/Dodge
or the Mac vs. PC. I have my reasons, Steve has his reasons,
and we can freely poke fun at each other in the name
of...fun. A friend of mine up here drives an International
Scout as his off-road vehicle of choice. I drive a
Jeep. Every single time I see him, there is a period of
obligatory ridicule for vehicle choices, and life goes on.
:) It took quite a bit for him to admit to me that he had to
have a Jeep pull him out of the mud once. But now that he
has his MileMarker 12,000 lb winch, I'm sure he'll need to rescue
me at some point in the near future. My typical
response is that Jeep is THE original, but went by the name Willy
back in the day. All others just followed their lead.

Nah,
Steve is just jealous. After all, he does have a Magellan. :)
One
can't be too harsh on another simply for a misguided
purchase.

That's just about enough out of you, Steve. If you'll notice,
my replies
