You don't 'rudely' make your way into a conversation on a listserv. That's its purpose, for discussion! I have yet to see any of the explorist series in action, so I can't comment on anything but the aesthetics of the thing. Again, individual choice. You would think that with 8MB of memory it would allow map downloads, but I digress.

Not sweating..... that was just me poor attempt of being funny and rudely making my way into the conversation. I really do like my "cheap" Explorist 200, I just wish it had downloadable maps.... that's the only thing I don't like.... but the 8MB map that comes with it has been okay so far. And it appears to be pretty accurate.

As for the automobiles.... I'm a Dodge guy. Wouldn't trade it for anything.... not a jeep not a scout.... nothing.... I would, however, let you rescue me if I was stuck!
