I have a meridian color. It will pick up six satellites from my easy chair 
and never fails to make good with where I am. So the power cord for the car 
failed. From the Magellan website I told them about the problem and asked 
what I should do. I just got an email from Magellan. It was short sweet and 
to the point.

     A replacement external power cable will be sent to your location for 
your Meridian GPS.
