Rand, I have to agree with Scott, If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It, I have a bunch (12 or more) rechargeables that I use in our GPSr's... I have to admit one thing however, I like the way the power condition meter reads with AA better than my rechargeables. I'm sure that is because the NiMH batteries only measure 1.2 volts instead of the 1.4 to 1.45 in the AA's.. I can get a good day with my NiMH's in Mom's Garmin GPS12 or my old Magellan Meridian Gold. I am really looking forward to using the 60C and just 2 batteries. I have been wanting to get a set of NmH for a while now. But, I am stil using these old NiCads from 3 years ago!!!!!!!! They dont last nearly as long as they used to, but they still work!!! So I havent been motivated enough to buy new batteries yet! :) LOL > >Scott >Team Ropingthewind > >*********************************************************************** > > > ____________________________________________________________ Az-Geocaching mailing list listserv@azgeocaching.com To edit your setting, subscribe or unsubscribe visit: http://listserv.azgeocaching.com/mailman/listinfo/az-geocaching Arizona's Geocaching Resource http://www.azgeocaching.com
