The virus name is *W32/Sobig@MM * Please, even if you don't think you have the virus, please read though the following links and check the indication of infection. You might be suprised. The virus is brand new, and has only been around for a couple of week, so if your virus software is even slightly out of date, you might have it. http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=99950 http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sobig.a@mm.html http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1105-980338.html http://news.com.com/2100-1001-980415.html http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,826314,00.asp http://www.messagelabs.com/viruseye/threatlist.asp http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/cmp/20030111/tc_cmp/inw20030110s0002 http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=7143 For those of you that don't like to read links: Indications of Infection Existence of the file WINMGM32.EXE in the Windows directory, file size 65,536 bytes.
