Sounds like we were getting "bombed" at about the same time.  I remember 
one time coming in off the fire lines and I really needed a hair cut.  I 
went into down and was sitting in the chair when the very nice young lady 
that was cutting my hair got this really concerned look in her eyes and 
suggest that I might want to see a doctor because of the condition of my 
scalp.  It took me a few minutes to explain how my scalp was stained from 
the retardent, and not some sort of contagious skin condition. :-)
