Bronco Butte Cache Finally Conquered

Seems like are multi-team assaults on caches are working great previously Rim RR Depot and now the latest cache to fall victim to it Bronco Butte. Looks like it was a 3 Teams that beat this one... check out the log entries on the geocaching site. Bronco Butte

Record Breaking Month

Details
Seems with the cooler weather and holidays in November we have set a couple of records for caching in Arizona. There were 41 caches hidden in Arizona this November breaking the old record of 40 hidden in September. Also the number of caches searched for and logged set a new record with 744 beating the old record of 657 in September. I wonder if December will be even bigger?

GPS Drawing

Details
Introducing GPS Drawing, you drive/move around leaving a track of where you have been leaving behind a picture drawn on top of a city street grid, big field or where ever. One person tied their GPS to their dog and ended up with pictures with very eratic lines.
OK.. this is a little on the silly side, but it does look kinda cool when overlaid on top of a map to show where you have been.
The big question is how are we supposed to get stats out of it :)

100 Caches Found

Details
Team "Wyle E" is the first in arizona to break 100 caches (96 of them in arizona at the time of this writing). They did this while keeping a suprisingly low number of not found caches, probably due to incredibly high number of times they were the first person to the cache. Sometimes getting to the caches before they were officially even posted. :)

Adventures now database-ized

Details
After an all nighter we now have all our adventures put into a database. This means that we can now input our cache adventures in a very easy way with very little work. This means that hopefully we can get caught up to current with out adventures and then be able to update the site in real time. This will be a lot easier than creating sevral web pages from scratch every time. It also makes it easier to redesign the site quickly and easily as you will witness as the site redesigns itself on the fly with every click using the web themes library that I have been working on for a while now.
