Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] Are people still caching?
I devise educational modules, using GPS and Geocaches (some already placed,
some placed specifically for an event), for inter-active group learning
events at schools, K thru University, across the spectrum of
subjects...plus I coordinate special celebration occasions, team-building
exercises (which I call GeoGalas and Cache-Mobs, respectively), and
small-business marketing events; my company's name is *AZimuth Adventures (
www.AZimuthAdventures.co <http://www.azimuthadventures.co/>)* There was
absolutely nothing on their site about GPS & Geocaching being used in
education, until we notified them, requesting some information related to
our research, and then all of a sudden, THEY are developing guidebooks,
etc, for teachers to use...I absolutely understand that there are others
out there having great ideas, too, but it GALLS me to be given the
corporate run-around while presenting a fresh idea and
needing startup information and assistance, then have that same corporation
take the idea just because they have the resources to do so :/
